Well, I turned up, waited the required time, and then headed off.
Alone.
Again.
Not that I'm bitter about it.

Had a good run up to Paluma. The road itself isn't too bad down low, very little crap on the surface. That changes the higher you get. Road surface had leaf litter, sticks and in one case a whole bloody branch over it. Not all over, just right in the middle of the apex to each corner. Still a lot of moisture on the road, made for some slippery moments. Very little traffic heading up, but it was a different story heading back down. Not only did I have to contend with a dodgy road surface, but there seemed to be an unusually large number of cars determined to force me off the road and down the mountain. Must be the exhaust. They're all jealous that my motorsexual sounds so...well...sexual.
