Good to hear you had a good run yesterday , I only managed about half that distance , couldn't get away till 3.30 so I made the most of it , found a couple of corners & tortured old "Bibendum" .

    For those interested.

The problem i had with the BM was the mechanics fault.
And as i suspected, the spiders misaligned in the alt drive coupling.
Redid the job this arve, in half an hour, took hours the other nite.
The difference a little daylight and some practice makes...

Apart from being a bit pissed off about the above.
    Had fun on sunday.
The new front springs have improved the balance.
Still could use a bit more front preload and better damping in the rear.

    But it's getting there.
Wouldn't be surprised if the pilot is improving as well.
Chasing you lot thru the twisties on a regular basis.
Has made a big difference this year.

HAh I just sent a PM commenting on your message but before I read it.. Yhat doesnt make sense does it??

Yes You surprised me when you went pst us on the Conway leg. Bum up , head down and the bike floating around like a new mattress in a whorehouse..lol

The rear wheel is always on the move but it doesnt seem to destabilise the bike.

My handbrake was acting up a little yesterday,,mmm might need to trade her in on a new model..

Did the alt go in ok when aligned properly , ? any damage??

Damn it was hot. I didnt have as muck fluid as I thought and suffered a little dehydration. Couldnt keep my eyes open much after 8pm and had a terrible headache for most of today.

Hot weather means more fluids. Make mental note for next time.( thinks to himself)

Man you have the best job.
Out there in the wide open spaces, dust all over, standing in the paddock on a 40degree day and cooling your arm by sticking it up a cows ass.

It was a pretty hot day alright, nice ride but by 1pm I had enough plus I promised handbrake I would be home by 1pm (has just seen me writing this so shit gets deeper), rather quick trip home with Errol but we also stopped at Bloomsbury for a drink. When I got home had three big glasses of water plus an orange juice still dry so I had three stubbies, should have had them first as I finally quenched. Headache all day today, may have to carry some water next time..and not drink too much the night before...and maybe we were stopping a bit to often with the conditions and we should have only stopped at air con pubs

    Phones do take crap photo's...

So I haven't bothered posting them.

Now I have my tank bag, next time I'll take my camera that does half decent photos.

but I doubt I'll comming on any long rides like that for a while.
